Sovereign
Sovereign is a kingdom in the northeastern region of the New World that pledges fealty to the Kingdom of Greyhem, sometimes known as the City of Horse Lords. Originally constructed as a base camp of operations by Adramelech of the Validian Army it was conquered by Arthur Greyhem during the First Great War and the battlement has evolved as one of the mightiest nations within the Kingdom of Greyhem.

Geography
The City of Sovereign was placed strategically as a base of operations by Adramelech of the Validian Empire along the eastern shores of the Porthos River. This made it an ideal location to launch offensives against the elves of the Porthulsti Forest.
Sovereign stretches to the eastern coast of the Porthos River and they own Tarna, a village on the Porthos River between Porthul and Ilbed, and the military outpost known as Khargynoth across the Western Fold.
People and Culture
Sovereign is a militaristic nation and every child born in Sovereign is required to join their ranks during their adolesence. The people of Sovereign take great pride in their academy and they are known to be the best equestrians in the Kingdom of Greyhem.
History
The City of Sovereign was placed strategically as a base of operations by Adramelech of the Validian Empire along the eastern shores of the Porthos River preluding the First Great War. It was conquered by Arthur Greyhem and his armies in 4 BCE and developed into one of the first cities in the New World.
In the first year following the end of the war many Validian families settled in Sovereign including the Cortlabars and Faelyns, two Houses of the Inner City of Validus. Upon learning of his son’s death, Arthur Greyhem would travel east to the site of Greyhem, leaving Sovereign to be led by his friends Vandar Rowan and Arman Gill who started the Sovereign Military Academy.
In 872 CE Sovereign was the first to pledge fealty to the Kingdom of Greyhem and King Wilhelm II.
During the Second Great War Sovereign was under the control of the Gauf Warlord, Sammael. under the guise of Lord Albert Brada. Following their liberation by the Children of Light, Sovereign joined with the Kingdom of Greyhem to bring the fight back to the Validian Empire.
