Cael Vaeili

Cael Vaeili was the founding leader of the Solisteri Elves and the Speaker of the Wind. He is known to be the one who cursed Eldromus Blackheart during the First Great War. He was killed by Eldromus and lost his piece of the Keystone of Grindelwald, an act that would eventually doom the lands of Tenamyr.

Death is too merciful a fate for thee. Oh, blackest betrayer, thou hast wrought genocide of my kin... and brought slaughter to thine own. I curse thee Eldromus Cortlabar, thou with the blackest heart. For each life thou hath taken, thou shalt linger for a lifetime, twisted and corrupt, tormented in perpetuity.

Biography

Lorac Cael Vaeili was the first Speaker of the Wind, founder of the Solisteri Elves, and the son of Lorac Galadrius. Vaeili and Arthur Greyhem became friends after the Second Battle of Orenthyl, when Vaeili infiltrated the village to save his sister, Merianna. The alliance that was formed that day would prove to be enough to defeat Sammael's armies and turn the tide against the Validians during the Rebellion.

After becoming exiled along with two-thousand of his followers, following the Battle of Porthul, he founded the Elven City of Solstice. Vaeili is famous for being the one who banished Eldromus Blackheart to the abyss, an action that would prove to be his undoing as five years later he was murdered by Eldromus in Sorbithia during a time that would later be known as the Spellbreaker War. He was one of the founding members of the Circle of Twelve along with his cousins, Ledonel and Amon’Quel.

Personality

Cael Vaeili was known to be reckless and unorthodox when it came to normal elves. His thirst for exploration and druidic magic knew no bounds. He was described as being friendly and open to challenges and differences in opinion, but known to be a fiercely hostile when threatened. He was considered to be a wise and benevolent leader to his people and a deadly adversary to his enemies.
