Biography

Pots Talos is the son of the former Keeper of Truth, Cyrus Talos, of the Circle of Twelve. He was the leader of the Veil of the Black Hand and a Child of Light. Pots possesses no magical talent, a shame to his Father, who had attempted dangerous magic resulting in the death of his wife, and Pots' mother.

Following the incident with his parents and being blamed by his father for his mother’s death, Pots left home and got his start working for the Orgard Thieves guild after an embarrassing attempt to mug Atrius Althorand on the streets of Alhein.

Pots lived in Orgard for nearly a decade, building a relationship with Atrius and his sister Elaenia. In the year 1006 CE, Pots committed an act that left him a shallow husk of his former self. He left his position and home with no purpose and no will to carry on. A turn of events involving Bruger Ironhelm, Virgil Mythos, Kaelas Tangralas, Elric Yore and the Watcher would lead him to discover that he was part of an ancient prophecy, The Children of Light. This prophecy stated that  his soul had been reborn countless times through an object called The Great Gaias and will continue to shape the world and its events throughout time.

At first in disbelief, Pots spends time defending others, escaping the clutches of the Gauf, and unlocking memories of his past lives. Pots finds himself in a leadership position in a group of companions in a similar situation as himself, they are all reborn souls of the Great Gaias and are prophesied to change the world.

After losing his heart to Eldromus Blackheart during the Battle of Porthul, Pots left the Children of Light to echo the story of Vandar Rowan, purging himself ritualistically of his tormented ways atop Ghar Amal. Returning to his companions he was determined for justice and to save the continent from the threat of the Validians fighting alongside them until defeating the Dark Emperor Grindelwald Maultor, Eldromus Blackheart and their immortal Gauf Warlords.

Following the events that transpired within the Tower of Ilyrium, Pots remained within the Celestial Realm to ensure that the eternal battle of the gods would no longer affect the mortal world. In the Fifth Age Pots is revered as the Lord of Rogues and his name is often used for games of chance and luck in the field of roguelike professions.

Personality

Pots Talos lived in perpetual shame for the death of his mother which was solidified mentally for him after the atrocities he committed during his stay at the Orgard Thieves Guild. This resentment of himself often makes him detach, retreat from petty conflict and not form any interpersonal relationships with others. Though his past is filled with darkness he hopes that he can atone for his sins, making him defend righteous justice and stand up for those in peril.
