Mayhap not in our lifetime, yet some day, in an age to come, perhaps from the ranks of our own school in Sorbithia... I forsee there shall be mages yet, whom shalt command powers far more wondrous than those of our own.

Biography

Amon’Quel and his brother Ledonel, more commonly known as the Elven Twins, grew up in the Porthulsti Forest and were the cousins of Cael Vaeili. Both the Elven Twins possessed great power in sorcery and were considered to be some of the most powerful wizards in both the elven and human worlds.

At the beginning of the First Great War, Amon’Quel joined the Warriors of Light in their fight against the Validian Empire with his cousin Cael Vaeili. Following the Battle of Porthul he and his kin were banished from the Porthulsti Forest. He helped Cael Vaeili find a new home amongst the yew trees in the southern forest, a place that would eventually become the elven city of Solstice.

In 9 BCE, following the founding of Solstice, Amon’Quel and Ledonel would return to Porthul and steal the Hourgem of Valnyr from Lorac Galadrius. Though this act brought them guilt, they knew that the Hourgem, the artifact that the Validian Empire craved most of all, was no longer safe in Porthul. They took the Hourgem of Valnyr to the Fey Queen, Vassis, for safekeeping before taking the long arduous journey back to Eldrethen, a new city formed by Arthur Greyhem and his SIlver Army.

Amon’Quel fought alongside the Warrior’s of Light until they ultimately defeated the Validian Empire and sealed the immortal warlords within the Tower of Ilyrium using the Keystone of Grindelwald. Amon’Quel was given a piece of the keystone for safekeeping after it was shattered by Ulgar Shinestone.

In 2 CE Ledonel, Amon’Quel and Cael Vaeili joined their friend Arman Gill to create Sorbithia and the Circle of Twelve within the new Kingdom of Greyhem. He spent the first years of his service with his new school of magic creating conduit towers, teaching his students. Amon’Quel took a private residence in a tower he created in Sorbithia to practice new forms of sorcery away from the eyes of others as well as their safety.

When Eldromus Blackheart returned to take his revenge upon the Warrior’s of Light, Amon’Quel was killed in Arman’s Tower on Farlen in 9 CE while defending the keystones and Arman Gill.

During the journey of the Children of Light in 1006 CE, they came face to face with Amon’Quel when they retrieved the Keystone of Grindelwald’s fragments from the Northern Tower on Farlen. Amon’Quel claimed to have been waiting for them for nearly a millennia before his soul was released back to the aether.

Personality

Amon’Quel was a prodigy amongst the elves and became a reputable and inspirational teacher in Sorbithia. Amon’Quel had the unique ability to command Celestial creatures, a feat only shared by a select few including Quathorn Vaias and Raziel the Summoner. He was known to be strict and always busy, but would always be working for the greater good.
